What is media blasting used for?

Media blasting cleans, deburrs, and profiles a surface — removing scale, old coatings, and contamination, and creating the surface texture that helps powder, paint, and other finishes adhere. It also produces a uniform matte cosmetic finish on its own.

Is blasting a standalone service or just surface prep?

Both. Media blasting is a standard first step before our powder coating and painting, and we also blast parts as a standalone finishing or cleaning service. Tell us the result you need and we will confirm the media and process.

What parts and materials can you blast?

We blast steel, aluminum, stainless, and other metal parts, selecting the media and pressure to match the substrate and the finish or profile your specification requires.
