FAQ

Bright Silver FAQ

How is bright silver different from matte or semi-bright?
Bright silver uses brighteners for a reflective, cosmetic surface, while retaining silver’s conductivity. Matte and semi-bright are chosen for die attach, high-temperature solder, and wear applications.
Where is bright silver used?
Reflective and decorative applications, RF and optical hardware, and contacts where appearance and conductivity both matter.
Can you add anti-tarnish to bright silver?
Yes. A supplementary chromate anti-tarnish (QQ-S-365 Grade A) is available where contact resistance and shelf life matter.
