Quality Management Certifications

AS9100D — Our quality management system is certified to AS9100 Rev D, the aerospace industry’s quality standard, covering our electroplating and coating operations.

ISO 9001:2015 — Certified quality management across our facilities.

RoHS Compliance — RoHS-compliant processes available across our zinc, zinc-nickel, tin, and passivation lines, including trivalent chromate options.

Defense & Export Compliance

ITAR Registered — Gleco Plating is registered with the U.S. State Department Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) and routinely processes ITAR-controlled hardware under documented access controls.

DFARS Compliant — We support DFARS flow-down requirements on defense purchase orders.

Environmental

Environmental — Our environmental policy and our greenhouse gas intensity reduction target are published on our sustainability and carbon commitment page. Gleco Plating is registered with EcoVadis and will publish the scorecard when it is issued.

The Certification Behind the Certifications

Certificates prove the system; people prove the parts. Every Gleco operator, inspector, and line leader is trained and certified through Gleco University, our internal training and certification program — with documented competency assessments, annual refreshers, and recertification for every production role. When your part runs at Gleco, the person running it is certified to run it.

Certification Details

AS9100D / ISO 9001:2015 — certificate number 263542, issued by Amtivo (USA) Inc. under the ICOP (Industry Controlled Other Party, Americas) scheme. Initial certification September 2018; latest issue 2 June 2025; valid to 1 September 2027, subject to annual assessment.

The certificate is multi-site and covers all three Gleco facilities: Rowlett (2220 Grisham Drive) and McAllen (3800 W. Ursula Avenue) for metal finishing, and Gleco Paint & Powder Coating (5020 Grisham Drive) for powder coating, liquid painting and silk screening.
