Electroless nickel deposits at an even thickness in bores, blind holes and threads, where an electroplated deposit thins out. For hydraulic and field hardware that geometry advantage is often the whole reason to specify it.

The McAllen plant sits at 3800 W. Ursula Ave, a short run east from Mission along the US-83 corridor. That proximity is what makes a finishing step practical for lower-value, higher-volume fabricated parts: freight stops being a meaningful share of the piece cost.
